With Olive Oil & Argan Oil · Last updated:

Moroccan black soap (savon noir) is a traditional, paste-like hammam soap based on olive oil. As stated on its label, the Ottoria Moroccan Black Soap range contains olive oil and argan oil, and it comes in nine scents in jars with gold-coloured lids.

How do you use Moroccan black soap?

General usage suggestion:

  1. Warm and moisten your skin with shower or hammam steam.
  2. Take a small amount of soap and spread a thin layer over wet skin.
  3. Leave it for a few minutes, then exfoliate gently with a kessa glove.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and moisturise your skin.

Avoid contact with the eyes. If you have sensitive skin, try it on a small area first.

Packaging

The range comes in dark jars with gold-coloured lids. The labels show the product name in Turkish, English and Arabic, a multilingual layout that also suits export markets.
