What are the legal requirements?
In Turkey, cosmetic products are governed by the Cosmetic Products Regulation published in Official Gazette No. 32184 on 8 May 2023. Before a product is placed on the market:
- A product information file must be prepared,
- A safety assessment must be carried out,
- The product must be notified to the Product Tracking System (ÜTS) of TİTCK by the responsible person,
- Label information must comply with the regulation.
